I’m Dhruv Singla. I run Office Sahayogi — a business advisory practice for Indian SMEs — and co-founded Sahayogi One, the parent company that holds an ecosystem of products built around how Indian businesses and individuals actually live and work. I’m also a PhD scholar at Amity University, researching decision-making in Indian MSMEs. I came to all of this from five years inside chartered-accountancy practice — articleship, audit, two thousand returns a year, watching where the work broke and why.
I work where advisory, products, and research meet — because that’s where most of the real problems in Indian SMEs live.
What I actually do
The work has three shapes. They feed each other.
Most Indian SMEs don’t fail because they lack tools — they fail because the operating layer underneath the tools was never put in. My work, in three forms, is to put that layer in. Advisory diagnoses what’s missing. Products operationalise what advisory designs. Research is what keeps both honest about what actually works.

We work like a business doctor: diagnose operational gaps, design workflows and controls, deploy the right tools, and drive governance until execution becomes predictable. Tool-neutral by principle. Software is a consequence of the diagnosis, not the starting point.
